Kapiti Horowhenua Buisness Awards

The annual Kapiti Horowhenua Bussiness awards dinner was held on the 17th of this month.  Winners were announced at the gala dinner for a variety of categories before the supreme award - "Business of the year".  A recipient of the supreme award in 2002, Canvasland this year took out the "Sustainability" category where we were recognised as having "the best sustainable business practices through using a minimum of natural resources and placing as little waste as possible into the environment."  This is a key objective in our company and is an initiative we will continue to practice.  The category prize was not where it ended for Canvasland.  We were very exited to receive runner up in the final award for the evening "Business of the year".  Entering the awards has provided Canvasland an opportunity to evaluate our business against other successful compainies and give us an understanding on where we might be in the future.  The success at the awards is testament to the hard work and commitment our team put into their roles.

Larger than life promotional inflatable

This impressive 6 metre high inflatable dog has been produced for a major FMCG customer.  You won't miss this huge dog at major events around the country.  Given it's size and one off design it will be a certain draw card and create a lot of interest around our clients promotion.  The unique design has been based off our designers family pet labrador - "Duke".  Another prime example of Canvasland's ablility to develop one off and unique products to help promote your company, brand or event.

Corroborree and Orca spheres

We were recently contacted by Australian photographer, graphic designer and artist Suzanne Buljan, who was looking for inflatable props for a major photo shoot which took place around a variety of hot spots in New Zealand.  Inflatable orca whale and corroborree frog spheres was the order for the project.  Digitally printed, the spheres provide visual impact and according to Suzanne worked extremly well out on location where they were suspended in the air, floating in water and placed the ground.  We look forward to seeing the photos with the spheres in action.

It's all about inflatables!

To carry on the inflatable theme, here's yet another exciting obstacle course designed and manufactured by Canvasland.  With obstacles to jump over, run around, dive through and slide down, this course is sure to be a winner at the indoor adventure playland where it will be based.  This unit has been manufactured with a high quality Polystar PVC material which comes in a variety of colours.  The Polystar also provides a perfect surface for printing graphics and company branding.
