Hi

Canvasland wins again

Held in Adelaide last week, the annual Australian Canvas and Synthetic Products Association Awards for Excellence provided companies from all over Australisia a chance to showcase their finest projects.  Canvasland was a recipient of two categories at this years events.  The two awards taken out at the Australian event proves to the Canvasland team that our innovation, manufacturing and workmanship is second to none when we can compete against some of the major players in Australasia.

Category 1 Geosynthetics / Liners - Winner Canvasland Fish Farm Project

This industrial grade liner is designed to allow fish farming to be taken to a new level of environmental standard. This double skin liner allows for all the fish effluent to be removed to avoid any environmental damage, by utilizing a unique evacuation system. The design allows for the liner to be pumped with air so that fish can be moved from one tank to another as they grow with the minimum amount of stress.

Our client has invested a large amount of money in the invention and has relied on us to develop design principals that meet his very high standards. We have also produced a shade top to protect the fish from predators.

Category 5 - Automation - Winner Canvasland Retractable Roof System

This retractable roof and roll up wall enclosure measures 9.5m x 5.0m. Our client required the flexibility to be able to provide a range of options for café dining. All weather patterns needed to be factored into the design detail to ensure a versatile structure for year round use regardless of conditions. The structure has provided additional space to the boutique cafe.  It's stylish looks add to the building with little imapct on the surrounding beach environment.  Long Beach cafe can be found at Waikanae Beach on the Kapiti Coast.
