Hi

Shade Sail Season

Shade sails provide an excellent solution for sun protection, whether it be at your home or business.  They can be custom designed and built to best fit the look and style of your property.  This shade sail was recently installed by our Wellington crew at a property in Seatoun.  Our client wanted to provide sun protection over their deck and also create privacy from the two storey property next door.  This particular project is a prime example of the number of options available to fit a sail to a variety of structures.  A free standing shade sail is often fitted to poles. In this case, a number of stainless steel fittings were fixed to the retaining wall, and a rope track system was fixed to the home to which the sail was hung between.

A Bouncing Business

Two new and exciting trampoline products have been added to Canvasland's Supertramp business for this summer.  Jumpsport and AlleyOop Trampolines bring the next generation of trampoline to your back yard.  Soft Bounce, Variable Bounce, Power Bounce and Double Bounce are all new terms and exciting innovations that will become apart of the common Kiwi language when it comes to talking about trampolines.  Manufactured from high quality components, Jumpsport and AlleyOop provide some of the best and safest bounce in the business.  Only available with Jumpsport and AlleyOop are a number of fun accessories that can be fitted to the trampoline.  A basketball hoop, printed game mat and game packs provide a number of extra fun activities to get kids outdoors and "pushing play" on the trampoline.

Our strategy is to become New Zealand's one stop shop for trampolines, and with the addition of these two new and exciting brands from USA we are able to offer a range of quality, safe trampolines to meet most budgets.  Visit www.trampolines.co.nz for more information.

Pool Inflatable Design Competition Winner

Canvasland ran a pool inflatable design competition at this years Just Add Water conference, held for aquatic centres.  We received a number of innovative and sometimes outlandish designs from pools around the country.  The winning entry had their design manufactured and donated to them by Canvasland.  This design received from Makino Aquatic Centre in Feilding was the pick of the bunch.  It pitches two competitors along a challenging course that involves a slippery rock wall and floating pillars to run accross, before heading down the slide into the pool.  We congratulate the team at Makino Aquatic for their effort and the creative thinking put into their entry.

Manufactured for a Palmerston North based fork lift company, these PVC walls provide a steam blasting bay where toxic cleaning agents are often used to clean down grease incased machinery.  Our client wanted to capture the contaminated water run off and prevent splashing onto nearby buildings and vehicles.  The eyeleted PVC screens have are laced onto the bays frame.  They are proving to be a simple and effective solution that can be easily washed down.
