Hi
Leisure Pod
Canvasland was recently called upon to help develop a fold away shade structure for this exciting innovation. The Leisure Pod is a compact, easy to tow trailer that has all the luxeries you need when camping or enjoying a day trip on the road or at an event. Sofa bed, indoor / outdoor kitchen, water, lighting and a "sunbrella" that provides shelter from the sun or wet weather comes with the standard Leisure Pod package. Our brief was to develop an all weather awning that provides good cover, yet be easy and simple to erect and compact to ensure it fits into the Pod when in transit. Acrylic marine rip stop canvas was used to produce the sunbrella which extends 1.5 metres either side of the Leisure POD. Light weight poles provide the frame for the sunbrella. Creating the sunbrella for the Leisure Pod is a prime example of
Canvasland's capabilities to adjust and work with unique and innovative concepts.

Inflatable Balls
During the past month we have received a huge call for inflatable balls for a variety of events and applications. Inflatable structures in general are becoming more and more popular for advertising, promotional and marketing purposes. Smaller inflatable structures such as these 1.5 diameter balls are becoming as popular as the bigger units Canvasland produces. Smaller inflatables can be just as eye catching as the bigger units and can be branded and digitally printed to represent a particular company, brand or event. These inflatable balls were manufactured for the Cultural Precinct in Christchurch. The balls have been branded to represent the Precinct and will be used outside exhibits, galleries and retail stores on a regular basis to attract the crowds.

Blacks Back
Canvasland's successfull association with Versatile Tent Systems continues. A new and exciting concept in marquee tents is this impressive black marquee which Versatile Tent Systems has introduced to the New Zealand market. The roof canopy, walls and the interior linings were manufactured by Canvasland. They provide the sleak finish to the marquee and take it a step forward from the traditional white marquee's and present an up market and funky dispaly for your event or function. The first outing for the black marquee was at a concert in Wellington's Basin Reserve recently. The marquee was themed and set up as a lounge bar.
