Hi
Nelson Awning Project
The Canvasland crew were recently contracted to manufacture and install over 60 awnings at a new retail centre in Nelson. The awnings were used to provide an upmarket look and appearance to the shopping centre. The varied sized awnings were manufactured at Canvasland Levin before being transported to the site for installation.

Waterwalkers NZ
New Zealand Recreation held it's annual Just Add Water (JAWS) conference recently. Attended by the majority of pool and aquatic facilities from around New Zealand, Canvasland attends as a major sponsor and this year took the opportunity to launch the Waterwalkers into the market. Waterwalkers are fast becoming known as the "human hamster ball" where keen participants are locked inside the inflatable ball and are challenged to run accross the pool. They are a simple yet innovative inflatable which has proven to be very popular in the short time they have been out in the market. A water and airtight zip is used on the ball to keep the interior of the inflatable from flooding. There is 30mins of oxygen available in the ball once it is inflated and zipped up. As some of the fittest atheletes have found, this is more than enough given
they are only lasting up to 5mins a turn before having to pull up for a rest! One NZ Surf Life Saving rep was quoted as saying "it was harder than racing in a 200m freestyle". Easy to use as long as you have power for a fan to inflate the balls and at least 300mm deep water. The Waterwalkers are pulling the crowds.

Rocket Lands In Wanganui
Recently manufactured for the Wanganui Aquatic Centre, this 15mtr long Rocket inflatable may look simple, but it has to be one of the most challenging pool inflatables in our range. With a slippery surface and wet feet, those who accept the challenge often find that balance and grace is thrown out the window as they try their darndest to reach the end of the Rocket before falling off. Normally manufactured as a continuous air inflatable, this particular unit was made airtight. The sewing machines were packed away and the hot air welder put into action to produce this completely air tight structure. We have an experienced team who operate our two Miller hot air welders on a daily basis. The Millers are ideal to seal long runs and manufacture larger projects.
