Inflatable Whare
An inflatable whare - this unique concept was designed by Dunedin artist Inez Crawford. Inez presented the idea to Canvasland and worked closely with our design team during the development and production stages. The pattern of the whare was based around a bouncy castle, which was modified to take on a traditional look of a whare and yet maintain a slight hint of the castle features. The whare will be on exhibition in Dunedin over the next few months representing the entertainment aspect of culture.

Summer Shade
Spring is the opportune time to look at shade options for your home or business, especially now day light saving has kicked in. With the longer sunshine hours each day you can get a better understanding of where shade cover is necessary and what application will provide the best protection while still fitting in with the design and look of a property.
Gone are the days where there were only a couple of shade structures to choose from. Today, there is a huge variety of options. Over and above the popular sails and awnings there are now more affordable frame structures to consider. Umbrellas are also making a big comeback, especially now we are seeing more innovative and durable designs out in the market.
Canvasland can offer a variety of custom fitted shade options. The sails in the photos are a prime example of thinking outside of the square. The sails add to the aesthetics of the Oriental Parade home while providing good protection from the sun.
